This sweet girl came to the studio in Forest, Virginia on a late autumn day and brought her whole family along for lifestyle portraits.

This session is a great example of a Lifestyle Newborn Session near Lynchburg, Virginia. I offer three different types of Newborn Session packages in the Central VA area to suit your budget and photography needs, one of which is the Lifestyle Newborn session. This session includes photographs of your brand new baby in your arms or resting on the studio bed and includes your entire immediate family in a variety of pictures. I especially love the sibling portraits we are able to capture during these sessions!

Large, extended family sessions are a common request two times of the year: Summer (families vacationing nearby at Smith Mountain Lake) and around the holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks). My preference is always to do them in the winter and that’s for one major reason: Sunset times are much earlier in the day during the winter months. This allows us to take advantage of more energy and less exhausted kiddos than we typically find during a summer sunset session.
