2013 in Review: Thank You

2013 in Review: Thank You

Wow! What a year!! Many memories made, lessons learned, and experiences were had. I met so many wonderful families, witnessed the most beautiful couples make forever promises, and had the opportunity to get to know so many people.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to each and every one of you who picked me to capture your memories and be a tiny part of your lives this year.

Joining forces with some of the area's most talented and creative professionals is definitely on the top of my wish list when it comes to adding projects to my resume. It's also one of my most preferred methods of finding personal inspiration. I continually find collaborating with artists I admire and observing their work-in-action to be very inspiring.

I know "the season" is nearing the end when I have a whole day to do absolutely nothing at all. And that's exactly what happened yesterday. All three of us stayed home all day in our PJs and watched football, worked on 2014 business plans, and even ordered pizza for dinner. It was glorious!

I have been thoroughly enjoying my fall season of work. Of course, there's always a balance to be found between wanting to spend time with my family and needing to work on the computer, but couples like Kevin and Kailyn make the working part a lot more fun.

While I am working on processing the past couple of weddings in queue, I wanted to share Jay's bridal portraits with you all. How stunning is she?! We did her portraits at her home - the same place where she said her vows - against the backdrop of the river. I love, love the contrast between Jay's elegance and the rugged trees and sand bars.
