Wednesday was seriously amazing. It felt like Christmas morning when I woke up! The response to the new brand + website and the anticipation for the party in the evening was just so, so touching. I could feel your excitement and it was the best feeling!! Thank you, thank you for joining me on this journey!
Today I want walk through all the things that are different about the new site and brand, what is staying the same, and the big Why behind this massive change!
It's Launch Day!!! Wooohooo!!!
What a WHIRLWIND! Less than two months ago Tommy and I had a coaching session with Katelyn James (more on that later) and we made the huge decision to change the name of my business and completely re-brand (more of the WHY also later). I immediately contacted the amazing Allie Rice and she helped us roll out a new brand, logo and website in just a few weeks!

One of my goals for 2015 is to document my own family more often. In order to ensure this happens, I made a point back in January to clear four days on the calendar this year to photograph a few Day In The Life sessions of my own family. The pictures below are the result of my first attempt at documenting a day in our life.

As a birth photographer I have seen a fair share of births. Hard, strenuous, and even some downright alarming births. I have also seen beautiful births. Actually, every single one of the births I have witnessed has been beautiful in its own way. Truly.
Being a part of the birth industry (as well as being a new mama again) surrounds me with both birth professionals and new moms on a regular basis. And I've noticed a growing trend that makes me happy happy!
