This Mommy and Me session was photographed on-location in a beautiful rental property outside of Atlanta, GA. This session was styled by the talented Abany Bauer and hair and makeup was done by Molly Stilley. I had a wonderful time photographing Joanna and her sweet little girl and all of their tender moments together.

Can we say ginger?! Ah! I loved photographing these two beautiful ladies together! Baby O is such a sweet little girl and, as you will see, SO very loved! I had a great time getting to know her even if I did have to work extra hard to entice some smiles out of her. I love those babies that bring me a good challenge! :)

Baby B | Lynchburg Studio Newborn Session

This sweet family came into the studio a few weeks ago with their little man who was 8 weeks old already! Newborn sessions are typically done when babies are 3 weeks old or younger, but I am always happy to adjust our shooting plans when babies are too big to be wrapped up tight and tucked to sleep the whole session. There are perks to photographing babies past the prime newborn stage; I loved how alert B was and how many times he looked directly into my camera lens! :) What a little charmer!! J and N, thank you for trusting me to capture such a treasured season in your lives!

 Ashley Eiban and her family are super special to our family. Ashley was Sunday's day care provider during her toddler years. Ashley's daughter, Emmie, is just five days older than Sunday and they basically learned to talk with each other! Hah. :) I had a lovely time capturing Ashley and Emmie and their irreplaceable bond this past weekend. Below are a few of my favorite images I was able to capture during our time together.

Aren't they the sweetest?! They were such great sports to snuggle up in the cold in front of my camera! I can't wait to have more mamas and babies in front of my camera in just a few weeks!

Barrett & Courtney | Liberty University Mountain Pictures

Barrett and Courtney met while working at a local kids gym... which if you ask me, takes a special kind of person to hold that sort of a job! When I learned that they BOTH worked with kids in an active environment, I immediately thought they must be fun and easy-going people! And they totally are! I had a wonderful time getting to know them while we walked the grounds of this beautiful property. You can't beat the stunning mountain views at Sierra Vista and combined with good light and two people in love... that's a recipe for a DREAM session! I had a wonderful time at Barrett and Courtney's engagement session and I'm really looking forward to their wedding day at West Manor Estate... which is right around the corner! 

One of my goals for 2016 is to back-blog all of my favorite sessions and weddings from the past few years. My poor blog has been so neglected and right when I was ready to make big blogging dreams come true last summer, life kicked into high gear and the poor blog was neglected yet again! So I am starting again and this time with a sure fire plan (and a combination of periscoping to bring in content to fill the gaps!) and I'm excited to get things rolling around here! :)
