The Morgan Family | Lynchburg Family Photographer

This family!!!! Oh my goodness they were so much fun to photograph! Little Max is inquisitive and energetic, and (as you will see) the most perfect blue-eyed model!! There is so much love between the three of these guys that I had a BALL photographing them together!

We did their session at The Garden, an exclusive location I am able to offer all Liz Cook Photography clients. I LOVE shooting here... my spirit sings (I mean... more like I am ridiculously giddy!!) the entire time I'm shooting... the bright green backdrop (my favorite color!!) , sprinkled with bits of glowing sunshine... and then combining this beautiful setting with an equally as beautiful family (inside and out)?! It is like hitting the session jackpot! I love the way their images came out!

Enjoy viewing the joy that exudes from this family!

Thank you to Teresa from Glencliff Manor for being so generous with her property!

TRIGGER WARNING.

This blog post contains graphic images and words about a premature baby being born and passing. Hudson's mom was 16 weeks pregnant when he was born and these pictures were taken. If you are pregnant or have had a miscarriage in the past, please proceed with caution.

I never thought I would be writing this post.

Before I start... I have to warn you. This blog post is heartbreaking.

10 Easy Tips for Flying With an Infant

10 Easy Tips for Flying With an Infant

I absolutely did not expect to be traveling with Izzie nearly as frequently as I have been these last six months! Two Saturdays ago she flew on her 14th and 15th flights! Thanks to two spur-of-the-moment weekend trips to visit faraway friends, an unexpected funeral to attend, and a faraway wedding, she has flown almost monthly since she was born.

Now, I usually prefer to travel as light as possible, but with an infant, that's not always very light. Because of this, I've discovered a few unique ideas that can help traveling through airports with an infant a little easier. Hopefully you will find them helpful as well!

A Lynchburg Maternity Session | Tyler & Heather

A Lynchburg Maternity Session | Tyler & Heather

I had the honor of photographing Tyler and Heather's wedding just a few months ago. I loved capturing their celebration, so naturally I was even more excited for Heather to come to the studio for her maternity pictures! She is wearing a few pieces from the studio wardrobe and I don't think I could have asked for a better model!!

How to Get the Most Out of Your Wedding Photography Investment, Part 1

How to Get the Most Out of Your Wedding Photography Investment, Part 1

The other day I was sitting in my studio chatting with a super sweet prospective bride and she was telling me about her journey to finding the perfect wedding photographer. She had a unique tool available to her that a lot of brides do not: a family member who is an experienced professional photographer. Instead of hiring this relative to photographer her own wedding, she asked him to help her find the best photographer for her day so he could be present and enjoy the wedding.

As the story goes... she sent a list of photographers to this cousin and he responded back fairly bluntly that he wouldn't recommend ANY of the photographers on her short list. She was shocked and confused! But he explained...
