I am so excited to share this gorgeous maternity session in the field with you!
All potential (and of course booked) clients are encouraged to schedule a studio consultation to meet with me and talk through options for your portrait session. Your options can range from locations to group photo combination varieties as well as clothing options. During Samantha’s consultation she told me right away she knew she wanted her maternity session in the field so we spent out time focused mostly on her clothing options. When she stepped out from the wardrobe dressing area wearing the pink dress and white sweater cardigan you see below, I am pretty sure I let out an audible gasp.
She looked like a porcelain snow princess!
These pieces she chose from the studio wardrobe paired with professional hair and makeup by our own Emily from Body Works Day Spa were a stunning combination. We worked with almost-freezing temps with a for-sure-below freezing wind chill (thanks to the wind all of our hands were super numb by the end of our time together!) to capture her maternity portraits. But her loving husband kept her cozy and warm (or was it Samantha’s pregnancy body heat that kept him warm?!). The blowing wind added a beautiful element of movement to the pictures which I absolutely love!
Enjoy a few of my favorites from our time together below!
